my proform fan crapped out on me, i have a taurus fan sitting at work to use. a local store has the painless control that i can pick up to get me by with the fan for a few weeks. just wondering if the 185 degree on/ 170 degree off would be best. or the 200 degree on/ 185 degree off. going to have to pick one up asap to get me by, temps are on the rise around here

If you have a 180* T-stat, get the 200/185.
If you have a 160* t-stat, get the 185/170.

You dont want to have the fan running when the thermostat is closed, which is why they pick the numbers they do.

Good luck.
