Power steering knocking

Does anyone else have this? In the morning, after my car has warmed up and I'm backing out of the garage, there's a knocking that's most definitely coming out of what sounds like the rack. Not sure if this is common or if I need to drop the car off and have it looked at. The car is an '04 GT w/ 800 miles.

YES. I have the same exact problem. Whenever I'm driving slow through a parking lot or something, I would hear this popping/knocking sound. It's like the sound you hear when you click your tongue with your mouth closed. And I hear it whenever the wheels are turning.. Mine is also an 04 GT with 1040 miles.

I have an 01 with about 60k miles and it does it too don't know what it is though.
