The car made 460rwhp at 12psi with meth injection, as is..

The goal... is to get this car into the 9's, reliably, for 9K or less. So far.. here's the game plan..

JW TH400 trans (good for 1000hp) with Ultra-bell
JW converter (4000 stall)
JW SFI flex plate for 4.6
Modify the existing aluminum drive shaft
Cobra crank
Manley H-beams/arp bolts
Probe 18cc dish pistons
Existing comp 274's and springs
New oversize valves and port work by moderncylinderhead.com
Federal Mogul race bearings
New Ford gasket kit
Felpro MLS head gaskets
ARP head and main studs
Cobra oil pump
Used JT-trim blower upgrade (Brandon @ MPH)
Front mount bar/plate intercooler setup (built in-house)
3" intercooler piping with Tial blow off valve
Existing 90mm L-maf in blow through, with MPH MAF-Extender
60lb Mototron injectors (have a set laying around)
Steeda fuel rails (have a set laying around)
Twin ford GT pumps (upgrading from the stock Cobra twin pumps)
P-51 Intake manifold (picked up used for a smokin deal)
Firebottle fire suppression (already have in the shop)
10 point cage (getting for free.. local race car fab guy owes me a favor)
Harness, HANS neck device, helmet, fire suit (have already)

The only thing that I haven't addressed is what to replaced the Eibach springs with.. Other than that.. I think I have it covered. I need a NHRA license too.. I'll be tearing the car apart this week for the cage.. I'll post pics as the project progresses. I am still under 9K so far.. well under it.. I still have to pay for some machine work, and a few odds/ends.. I think I'll be in under the cap though.

S-trim head unit has sold for 1000.00
C&L Plenum brought 100.00
42lb injectors brough 200.00

I am ripping out the complete Mach 1000 stereo system with amps/amp rack, subs, and all other speakers, harness/head unit. Maybe I can get a few bucks for that as well. I will probably sell the Cobra R wheels to help offset the cost of some slicks/skinnies.

Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention the body panels. lol..

I felt bad for the guy that I bought it from. He recently got a DWI, and was forced to sell the car. He was asking 15K.. I offered him 12.. and he bit. Poor guy..

yea, seems like a lot of work done and the car looks great. the guy must have put a lot of time and effort into it to let it go for 12 grand!!!! that sucks, lucky you though.

its almost a shame you are going to tear it apart though, the hp is awsome as is. i guess you are making a race car though huh?

do you still have the red one with the novi, are you keeping that as the daily car?
