Anyone here have this system? If so how do you like it? Is there any resonance? Any before/after dyno tests? I also saw these pipes on Brenspeed's website. Here is the link:

I was thinking of either purhcasing the mid-pipe system is just getting the muffler deletes. Let me know what you guys think. Has there been any testing to how there cars respond to no mufflerr? I would think that there would be a loss in low end torque and a small gain in HP in the upper rpm band. Thanks

Never heard anyone say their 300+ dollar muffler deletes (SLP loud mouth) had zero drone.

I wanna know how the SLP's sound better. They're the same exact thing.

mayby my stereo is up to loud but Ive never noticed any drone..... ( isnt the pypes system just a resonator not a straight pipe) in my mind that would produce more drone !

The mid muffler system is a resonator. But he Pypes muffler deletes are straight pipes, just like the SLP. I wasn't paying attention. I thought you were comparing the Loudmouths to the Pypes muffler delete.

I've never heard anyone with the Pypes MMS complain about drone, or about the sound at all, for that matter. If he has drone, tell him to throw the Pypes Off Road H on it. It'll make it louder, deeper, and should get rid of any drone he may be hearing (though if he's hearing drone with it, he's a lot more sensitive than most).

I'm also considering the Pypes MMS.

Listening to soundclips just doesn't do it for me. So, does anyone know which axle-back is just ONE step louder than stock and has no drone? Yeah, I know I'm wimping out here, but I don't want to pi**-off the neighbors. I'd rather under do it, than over do it.

The Violators weren't a whole lot louder than stock, but definitely more noticeable under WOT and much deeper all the way through the power band, from idle to WOT.

Ever thought of running an O/R H with the stock mufflers? It sounds very decent and there is no hint of drone. I have a few video clips of that setup if you'd like to hear it. One inside and outside the car.

I've never heard of that before. Sounds interesting! Please let me know how to hear that. O/R means no cats, right? Any problems passing inspection? Does it effect MPG's badly?

Thanks. Your posts are always helpful!

    How did you do that

How did you pull that off? I get drone in the neighborhood of 1900-2300 RPM with my SLP's. :nono:
