Hey guys i have a 87 foxbody and im wanting to know if i can put the rear end from a 2000 gt stang into my foxbody? solving both my axle stud count and adding disc brakes.
Physically it bolts right in. It will be wide though. Normally unless you use fox style disc brackets you push the wheels out .75 inches on either side. The 99+ is slightly wider than the.94-98 years pushing them out even farther.
1986 - 1998 Mustang 8.8 Rear Housings are exactly the same, but the 1999 - 2004 are Physically Wider and if memory serves me the Control Arm Bolts are also a Different Diameter.
