I finally got my SHR flush mount louvers installed!!!!! Ended up doing it myself(help from Dad on removing the factory glass)as I asked 7 places around the area and got all No's! Removing the lower back seat, door scuff panel and the two rear panels was pretty easy. I was on the inside and Dad was on the outside of the car as we sawed the adhesive(windshield removal kit)on the factory glass. Once that was out it was back to a one man operation again. I should have used more(taller bead)of adhesive as the louvers are sunk in a bit. I don't really care that much as it is no 100 point show car and they are in!!!!! Other than being slightly "off", I love the look:nice: I never felt uncomfortable about any of the steps and would do it again if need be:D

I also installed SHR's black billet mirror knob and black billet parking brake lever! They look very nice along with the other SHR black billet goodies:D

Here are some of the during and after pics.

    Thanks guys:nice:
Well Dark, your car was the one that made my decision clear and want to actually go ahead with them. It just took me nearly half a year to do it:rlaugh: I also loved your pic where the interior is in focus looking in though the louver so I also took a few that way:D

After driving it today, I did see what it did to my ability to see out of them. The driver side is totaly useless as now all I see is painted blue. The passenger side still has 95+% view as only a few small lines are in the way.

Oddly, I never even use my windows. My mirrors are so big that I pretty much have zero blind spots heh.

Love the look man. I would buy those louvers but right now I'm sorta stuck on the go fast thing haha

Looks good! I found similar results with my louvers, although I don't think I've ever used the drivers side quarter window. The only annoyance I find is when you are trying to pull onto a road if it is a very tight angle (picture a Y or a K) and I have to look out the passenger's side quarter. Still isn't terrible though.

I like the dark e-brake handle as well.

what gives with the radio? Is that glare? It looks like you have a tail mounted video camera...I must be losing my mind...

Nice picts, I have the covers from "elinore" and the blind spots suck... a Y or K and I turn my cars nose to the right to make the left so I can check for traffic... :(
