just undo you rod bolts and using a rubber mallet, tap em out of the bores....
undo the cap, tap the rod away from the crank, rotate the crank some to get the journal out of the way, you can get right at the thing to tap it out....watch you don't score the walls...
if you rings are porked, they'll fall out.. otherwise, gentle taps til there out...
you prolly know this but...make sure you matchmark or the like for re-assy time...you don't even wanna mix the hardware up...put a bearing cap on the wrong way or rod, and you'll know it...
Yes the engine is out....Thanks for the info....thinking maybe to boring it out 30 over to a 306 and gotta also get the blocked dipped in an acid chemical to get the rust off so i can paint it
