ROCKER ARM HELP

i just had and engine built and broke it in the other day. i had a small tick comeing from the valves. i adjusted the play in them and noticed that on the rocker arm itself it says 1.5. i looked on my cam card and it says i have 484 lift with 1.6 rockers. i am wondering if my engine builder is dicking me around or are they ok. i also pulled the lifters out and checked them over, the broke in very well, and seem to be working fine. i am just wondering if i need 1.6 or if the 1.5s are ok

Basically, you now have a .454 lift cam with the 1.5 rockers.

if your lifters arent pumping up or not enough it could cause the ticking. either ratio will work but if you paid for 1.6's and have 1.5's id definately talk to your mechanic about that.

Fords don't normally use a 1.5 rocker - that's standard for a Chevy. Ford's standard is 1.6

yea well he did tell me that he put chevy rockers on it but he didnt tell me they were 1.5s i will have to have a little talk with him.
