hey, when changing out that speedo like that, whats involved? i have two 140mph clusters sitting in my garage and still have the 85mph BS in my car. i want to put one of them in!

pretty much filling the right side of the 140mp speedo down.... i used a dreamel on low becasue i could find out file but anything will work..i have to take it apart tomorrow to put my led's for the back light in...ill take some pics for you...its easy though......actually...give me like 20 mins ill go out and take it out and grab some pics tonight...
got it from autozone..its called duplicolor vynil and fabric...great product...
Take them apart.. Pull te 140mph thing out put it where the 85mph one was o grinding required..
ok here you go...this is how i got mine to fit in there...
you have to file down the right side plastic backing to that it will fit in the case

did you buy a cluster from an 89? that would be why..90-93 the face is widder which is why it has to be filed.

made a little block off plate real quick since i used the 90-93 cluster cover...(i think it looks better then the 87-89 imo)

sorry to bump in on your thread, but I am looking to go all black with my interior and get rid of the porno red. I was just wondering what you had used for paint on the door panels and interior pieces. Is it just vinyl or plastic paint? Any info would be great, thanks!

what i used was duplicolor vnyil and fabric dashboard paint...got it from autozone but you can get it anywhere that sells duplicolor products...i used like 4 or 5 cans...
Hey, remember when everyone was giving you chit about not having a v-8, not being able to drive, having a brown car etc...... ? you should use that for your motivation to make this into a killer car... youre doing a hell of a job so far.
