Great turn out guys!
We have a winner and a very deserving one at that. May I be the first to congratulate stylin99
How about a round of apple sauce!
Here is what he had to say:
Hey that's great! Thanks!
Here's some more updated photos. New wheels and such. I'm more about the "go" now and not so much about the "show".
My proudest piece on the car is definitely the engine. I built it myself earlier this year in my first attempt at engine building, and it put down 640 rwhp and 528 rwtq!
Engine Specs
Forged 4.6L 2v, High compression DSS Extreme pistons & rods, Fox Lake Stage 2 ported heads, Comp Cams 270AH, stock intake, C&L plenum.
Blower is a Vortech S-Trim with intercooler, 16psi max boost at 6800rpm. Runs on E85 ETHANOL fuel (105 octane "pump gas" at $2.00/gallon.)
The car will be in 5.0 Magazine's E85 Mustang Shootout results this spring. Just got back from the St. Louis event in October and it ran a 10.52 at 135 mph on drag radials.
Big Thanks to Mike Martin for the nomination!
Fox Lake Racing for the awesome headwork,
Pro-Dyno for allowing me to be such a dyno who*e, and to
Sean Hyland for making a DVD that shows how to tear down an engine and rebuild it the right way. LOL
