The D-Plug has arrived.

Ok I got the D-plug in the mail today.

Here is what it has. Plug that goes into the alternator and has 3 wires coming out of it.

1. Green/Red

2. White/Black

3. Yellow/White



My question is this, do i cut the green/red wire from the original D-plug that is in the car and attach my new D-plug's Green/red wire to it?

Is that the only wire that i use from my original circuit thats in the car? All the other wires just loop around from the new D plug and go into the Alternator. Heres the pic again.

I know its been beaten to death but wires own me. I need a quick reply!!




EDIT: I already have the 3G alternator (i think its fried but i wanna make sure its not just the old crappy wiring)

well.........the only wire on that plug ( the original ) you use is the white stator wire .....so as long as the stator wire is hooked up to it's own spot, the green is hooked up to to plug, the red 4g power wires with fuse holder is used, and that other plug just plugs in with no mods........that should be correct...i didnt use the new plug so dont quote me...as long as it looks like that pic you should be ok
