what kind of motor oil do you all use?

im thinking of going with a full synthetic but i dont know if its worth it. what oil do you all use / recommend? right now im using a high mileage semi synthetic oil from valvoline that my dad kept putting in it. now that i work i have to pay for gas and maintanance and whatnot. what do you all think? stick with this oil or use a different type?

How many miles on yer car? Its recommended you break in the motor with dyno then run synthetic. I picked my GT up with 40K miles and have run synthetic ever since. If you have 100K miles and have always used the "conventional" then theres no need to change now.

5 quarts Amsoil 5w30 and 1 quart Lucas "pure synthetic" oil treatment every 5,000 miles.

Used Motorcraft 5-20 when motor was stock. Now using 5-30 full syn motorcraft. I change every 2500-3000 max

Motorcraft 5w20.. it provides excellent protection. You can't go wrong with that or a full synthetic.
