Timing chain. Not difficult once you're there, but pulling all the crap off to get to it is a pain.
i remember those days,man it sucks pushing that up and down button.....so hard peaceAnything underneath the car.....not having a lift it just sucks laying on the concrete.
You aren't supposed to use all friction modifier...its 1 bottle of friction modifier, the rest gear oil
? I can swap the plugs on my last Stang in under 15 minutes and it was an 03you guys have trouble with the sparkplugs? go work on a modern mustang (or any car for that matter)
sparkplugs are so easy on our cars
Anything under the drivers side dash.
Installing a 93 booster for the 5-lug conv was by far the biggest pain in the....
Once the strut tower was deformed enough, the holes in the firewall elongated, upper intake moved, studs shortened on booster.....all I had to do was crawl under the dash with my feet on the headrest and install the nuts. Tightening them at the rate of an 1/8th of a turn was fun, too.

Just the number 8 plug. And its not that hard compared to newer cars, no. But I still think it's a pain in the ass.
Funny, I've always found the #1 plug (passenger-front) to be the biggest PITA out of all 8 - it's those stupid A/C and smog pump hoses that keep getting in the way that I hate. Just changed plugs on my '84 this weekend, got sloppy with the flex-head rachet a couple of times and made a nice pop and shower of sparks when I accidentally touched the battery terminal twice before I finally wised up and covered the positive terminal with a rag.
I didnt attempt this, glad i didnt. I just used the stock fox booster. i have no regrets
Foxes are easy as pie. Although, the pedal assemble swap is a big pita. I will never complain about working on a Fox since I use to own a 91 SHO, talk about a pain in the ass. EVERYTHING was a royal pain in the ass. Nothing was easy. I hated everything about working on that stupid/cool car. lol

I don't know if there's really a MOST annoying part on Foxes, but I do have a list of things I absolutely hate dealing with:
3. Heater core - never have done one on a Fox, probably never will, as I just wear a thick coat and gloves for the two whole months of the year that a heater would get used;
