Since we are on the subject of "rice" where do all of the cars running around in primer fit in?

Kooldawg do you still have your old chin spoiler from the original front end sitting around?

I said Torch Red, no matter what you call it, is not available in a spray can. I also cannot find it other than from Ford in a touch-up version. Kind of sounds like medications that are not in generic versions yet. The answer to most questions, to quote a movie I hate, is money. I believe that's the case here. There's more profit to be made by not making the paint readily available in different forms.

My bad! Yes...front "splitter":rlaugh: I've seen pics of the splitter and the rear fascia painted body color and it...looked "odd".

Primer street cars...unless it's a rat rod, it's just unfinished and tacky...

I don't have it. It was heavily dented in the center and trashed:(

That is the reason mine is black in the center now. I had to take it off and sand it, fill it, prime it and paint it with black bumper paint.

I agree with primer on a rat rod being ok.

Do those chin spoilers get torn up that easy from regular driving or do curbs do more of the damage?

Mine gets scrapped up from parking lot "stop blocks" and those poorly designed commercial driveways that make you bottom out.

Mine was from a stop block as well. No damage from everyday driving

Originally I painted mine the same color as the car but took it off and painted it black so it was easier to touch up. I've had it both ways and I prefer it to be black in my case but I suppose it might not look as good black on some other cars. To each his own.
