Nothing wrong with that... It just seemed kind of funny when I first read it..

Yep, now I got my doctorate in engineering I am going to open a shop....

Plus all that engineering background should help... well good luck with your buisness when you open it..

Well my wife will be done with school next spring, after that I will be willing to take a chance on this. It's probally going to be atleast a year before I can get started.

LOL :p now that would be some hardcore thread jacking.

anyways back to opeing a shop in oklahoma... I think you should do it. it may be slow at first but it sounds like you have the means to get by untill it picks up.

+1. If you give it a whole hearted effort, theres no reason why you couldnt build a good, respectable business.

You have to start small and get the word spread. Don't expect to be overran with lots of customers on the day. Give the customer a good price and treat them well and everything will eventually piece together. It's all about prices and how people are treated.

That's where the big shops end up going wrong. They stop caring about the everday customer which is never good.

Oklahoma is the reason Ford put the Mustang on 4x4 springs. j/k I live over in the South east part of Okla & am having a hard time finding anyone local. I could use a engine rebuild soon.
