i just got the flywheel and 7qt oil pan w/gaskets
i also have arp head studs and fel-pro head gaskets
i think i have every thing i need just have to get with a few friends and put this stuff in the car more pictures to come and video

little info :

mmr900 shortblock with all options but alum.
mmr900 oil pump
mmr 7qt oil pan with return oil port for supercharger
mph centrifugal blower camms (thxs tim.)
patriot stage2 heads using a (115lb seat and 238lb open valve spring spring max lift .600)
arp headblots,fel-pro gaskets
f1 alum. 12lb 8-bolt flywheel (needed this as i was using the 6-bolt alum. flywheel on the old motor)
things extra i got are 4.6l sohc timing set (not needed just did not want to yous stuff off my old motor)
front timing cover and harmonic balancer i needed

i also got the 4.6l sohc timing kit ( this is used to set the timing on the 4.6l motor my not be need but cant hurt)
i also have the manuel both cliton and haynes good info in there for torque spec and such.

i over torqued the water pump bolt and broke it off :(

never mind got it large wrench works for turning the crank counterclock wise
i think i got the cams degreed correct

got 151 degrees on one side and 74 degrees on the other side of the intake valve so thats (151+74)/2= 113 centerline and thats what the cams are set for

500rwhp is easy with all stuff he has it should break 600. I'm right at 600 and I'm not running a 75 shot.

When I broke 500 I was running 12.5 psi with stock heads/intake and just dropped the cams in with a cam retention tool still running the stock valve springs for over a year. I went from 431 to 516 with just the cams.

The following year I added the patriot heads, 8rib kit. IW overdrive crank pulley and electric water pump and made 598.5. Since a shot on a boosted adds more than NA. With a 75 shot It would be over 680+.

Maybe I should have degreed my cams?

man i started this post a long time ago

well some up date on the car jpc performance has it working there magic and cleaning up all the wrong i did lol... like all the bolts and stuff i forgot to put back on the motor when i put it together........

anyways the car is up and running theres a little noise coming from the timing cover maybe some poor oil flow to the timing tensioners ......

cobra tank is in the car

just as a refresh.....

the car has been sitting for over a yrs i even brougth a 2006 g35 6-speed as my daily driver...

2000 mustang gt (73k on the car)
mmr900 shortblock
stg 2 patriot heads
mph blower cams

vortech sq-trim 3.60
cobra fuel tank duel pumps

car is being tuned by jpc performance in glen burnie ,md

justin informed me that the ajustable cam gears i have on the car maynot be a good idea so he is putting the stock cam gears back on

once i get the numbers from the tune i will post them

i am also removing the diy front mount intercooler i was going with and doing a vortech air to water intercooler

dropping the pulley size down as low as i can get 2.8 or 2.6 or so
jumping to a 60lb injector, bap, and dual gt pumps

i want 500-600whp by july

now only if i can stop looking at turbo kits for my g35 i will be fine :D

dam jivepepper i am slipping been keeping track of your car for sometime now nice numbers

i have not been on for a few months i see you got a t-trim now what was the max you did with the sq-trim i am going to sqezz mine for all i can get out of it before i go for the t-trim

i also wanted to hit maybe a 50-75shot of nos on my car also since i still have my nx kit .....

going to see if jpc can set me up for a all boost tune street and a boost/nos tune for the track..

Thanks I pretty happy with results so far. I have a little bit of a belt alignment issue right now.

Stanggt00, If you don't mind me asking.... roughly how much did all of this cost you? (ball park figure). I have a 2v as well.

I have been thinking about adding a blower. But since my motor already has 105k miles and will continue to be a DD. I was thinking about a new short block from MMR. Which then I was like... ahhh hell. I might as well get some new heads and cams while I'm at it  .... . You're setup is pretty much what I have been thinking about (plus or minus a few parts).

By the way, nice pics and looks/sounds like your build is coming along great. :nice:
