Half of my
suspension parts arrived from MM on Thursday. I went with coilovers on all four corners with 350 pound springs up front and 200 pound springs out back. There’s upper and lower rear
control arms, shocks and struts with the “sport” valving, CC plates, bumpsteer kit, full length SFC’s and all associated pieces. I also ordered a K-member, front
control arms, and pan hard bar, all of which were about two weeks behind this initial shipment, per MM. Also inbound are a terminator rack, MM hybrid steering shaft. I need to research if the stock Fox PS lines fit the 2003 rack or will I need new lines as well? I went with this setup after speaking with the tech support at Max Motorsports and was told this would make a nice handling car that won’t be too rough for regular street driving. I hope I’m not disappointed.
I’m still trying to get the garage finished up and I’m almost there. I needed to order a few more pieces for the shop air plumbing but I should have everything tightened up by next weekend. Then it’ll be go-time to start dismantling the mustang and gettting the new
suspension, brakes and wheels/tires under it. I have sadly come to the realization that I may not get to drive it until the spring, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. There was no way I wanted to tear into a project of this magnitude with a garage that wasn’t ready for it. Just asking for headaches. Anyway, pics of the goodies:
