Electrical Hard to Start, Rough Idle, Won't Rev Up/Barely Any Power to Drive

I've been reading KOEO codes with a test light. I'm using the Foxbody distributor. Yes, the intake is grounded. The other grounds are good too. I'm timing it on the Foxbody 10 o'clock pointer & verified TDC. I'm going to send the PCM out if I can figure it out. The 351W D0OE heads are...

Electrical Hard to Start, Rough Idle, Won't Rev Up/Barely Any Power to Drive

I put the TFS1 cam in. It has the 351W firing order (5.0L H.O., i.e. 13726548). It is an electronic issue I'm trying to diagnose. As mentioned it runs OK on the A9L from my other car. The mechanicals are sound.

Electrical Hard to Start, Rough Idle, Won't Rev Up/Barely Any Power to Drive

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I have been using the correct Cobra MAF in its 70mm housing with the Cobra X3Z and 24lb injectors. (Any testing with an A9L swapped in from another car also included the correct 55mm MAF.) Are there any specific tests that I should do to test this X3Z PCM?

Electrical Hard to Start, Rough Idle, Won't Rev Up/Barely Any Power to Drive

Ignition timing is correct, H.O. firing order & seems to advance as it should. I need to get a different fuel pressure regulator for sure. The only KOEO codes I get are 31, 67, 81, 82, 84, and 85. These are all expected due to the emissions components deleted & neutral drive switch. Can...

Electrical Hard to Start, Rough Idle, Won't Rev Up/Barely Any Power to Drive

I hope to get some expert help (i.e.@jrichker). I did a TFS1 cam upgrade & fox body EFI swap (X3Z PCM) in my 1966 Mustang with a C4. The car is hard to start. It initiaruns while cranking, but almost immediately dies with the key in the run position until it begins to warm up. Then it idles...

    1965 Mustang Rearend Advice

A few guys have put Cobra IRS in early Mustangs and Mercurys as seen here & here. The problem is that 65-66 cars will need the quarters flared a lot! I know up to 2001 the Explorer solid axle is ~59.5", but I do not know about the Explorer 2002 and up IRS. Have you made any progress with...

What is max valve lift in 351W with D0OE Heads & Flat Top Pistons?

I have a 1978 351W block with D0OE heads. The engine has TRW flat top hypereutectic piston with the factory "eye brow" valve reliefs (NOT fly cut). The valve sizes are stock (1.84 I & 1.54 E) and the heads were upgraded with aftermarket springs, 1.7 roller rockers, screw in studs, guide...
