Scratch that I missed that you replaced the pinion bearings..hmmm... Did it do this before you touched rear? If you did this to remedy the problem than fine, but if you had the rear work done at Dj earlier time for maintenance than I would bet that the bearing was the culprit..

I'm gonna say it's a bad pinion bearing...thus causing the piniob seal to pop...that's a common trait on 8.8' s , when pinion bearing hoes it causes seal to be wore inccorrectly and they pop...just my guess...i def put all my chips on s rear problem tho..

i wouldnt take off the clear corners, they look perfect on black cars, and why go with the 98 cobra wheels they are just as played out as cobra r's , JMO . Car looks great they way it is, i would stick with a chrome wheel no doubt,.

just get rid out that chrome around the window and throw some badges on the side and you will be golden
