I got the tungsten color...Of course I like it. Has purpel Hue in the rain, or dark days. Doesn't really shine up like a black or blue Stang. 2 coats of wax looks about the same as the clearcoat... a little more gloss but nothing to write home about. If you go with Tungsten get the 18"...

I don't want to dash your hopes sanctus, I was at the dealership today and the salesman told me that 06GT's with Manual Tranny and 18" wheels are in critical shortage. He said Ford is limiting the numbers of GT, Manuals and 18" wheels. The dealership had a pile of v6,v6 verts (About 5 of Each)...

Rumour has it sometime in November is job one for those wheels.... there was a website posted that showed these being available sometime early NOV. Not sure if those were the exact wheels though.

Well the deed was done yesterday. Door and right rear quarter panel stripped and repainted/clearcoat. I must admit I cannot tell the difference it looks new and no more smudges. Amazing what well equiped body shops can do in 6 hrs. How long should I wait before I put some wax on it...

Well the Guru's at Ford have authorized the repainting of the door and rear quarter panel. They said it looked like a hose came loose in the paint booth and flapped on the car a few places. I can only hope the finished product is up to par. CHCPMAN
