I'm looking for the gains you all experienced in the 1/4 mile, ET & traps, after installing 3.73's.
I used search, and found some info, but it was few and far between. My car is stock right now, but 3.73's are the first mod coming. I just am looking for some real data on the kinds of gains people experience before getting them put in. A friend keeps telling me I won't run any faster with an otherwise stock car, and I think he's wrong, but it is hard to find any info to back up what I think. Can any of you help out? Even gains with say, 3.90's or 4.10's would be useful, if you have roughly back-to-back times/traps. I guess the big questions are, will trap speed improve at all, and will I need drag radials to take any advantage of the gears at the track?
Thanks to any who can help.
BTW, My car is a 2003 5-speed GT coupe.
