Brakes may be in bad shape. Springs and struts/shocks tend to go too. Fuel system deposits are a major concern, did they use fuel stabilizer? Was it stored properly, or just sitting out in the open? Low miles is not always a good thing. Often this can mean neglect. And yes, look for rust, at the inside bottom of the doors and in crevices. Look carefully at the inside of the trunk underneath the deck lid. Look for collision damage at the radiator support. Look at the rack and pinion boots and rubber bushings. These are all bargaining tools to help you talk them down on the price if they are asking alot. Stay away if it has fresh paint, that can hide alot.

I just bought a 93lx this past sept.Tires were dry rotted, brake rotors needed to be cut,and the paint needed some attention.Do a total tune up,dont forget the aircleaner. And put some type of gas treatment in,and change the anti freeze!
