5 lug drums... swap to disk.

ok, pretty basic question here. I'm deciding my future mods on my 92, and I keep coming back to wanting to do a 5 lug swap. I'd be doing the sn95 stuff in the front so I could use most rims.

so here is my question, I'd probably start out in the rear with the basic swap of just doing the ranger axles and drums, using these same axles, can I later go back and do the rear disk swap without having to remove the axles again? or at least use the same axles?

You will be able to use the same axles but they will have to be pulled again should you go with disks .

Yes you'll have to pull the axles to put disks on because that's the only way to get the caliper brackets on and off.
You'll either have to buy North Racecar brackets or use SN95 brake brackets and modify it to work with the fox axles and housing.
