91 wiring help

hey all, im installing an alpine mp3 player into my 91 notch

now...i wired all the speakers up but the left front *and dash* wont work, and the other speakers all sound distored, any ideas? the old cd player sounded just fine but it was very old and wont play any burnt cd's and such

ive reiwred all the speakers twice, any ideas? thanks

put your old cd player back in and see if the problem still happens. if not, then it could be a problem with the new head unit. in that case, just exchange it for a new one.
