I have a set of P heads that I'm getting ready to intall on my '79. My first Q is:
Are they side specific? It looks to me that the accesory holes are threaded at both ends of the heads.
2. This one concerns plugs. My engine is a stock '84 HO short block with: Performer RPM cam(224/234,.496/.520), RPM intake, 600CFM Eddy carb, L/T's, and lightly ported P's.
The local Ford parts dept. says that the AGSF-32 is already a "cool" plug. So, should I stick with that, or go one step colder with a AGSF 22? What should I gap them at? I'm using the Duraspark 2 to get the car up and running, and then installing my MSD 6AL. The rest of the ignition is an Accel coil, wires, cap, and rotor.
And my last Q is everyones favorite.
Any HP/TQ guesses?
Thanks.
