I called B&M tech service and was very displeased. They even seemed almost put-off when I asked a couple of questions about a hammer shifter for an 01 and I got no answers or suggestions.....kinda pissed me off, but o well.
Here's my question: does anybody know if there is any difference in the transmission/shifter/mounting points from 2000 to 2001. It really looks the same to me, but I have no friends around with an 00 mustang to compare to.
I really want the hammer shifter for my car!! The stock one looks like it came out of a ford escort or Taurus...it's ridiculous! I don't want just any t-handle...i want the hammer style small shift boot, and that kick-ass knob!
Has anybody done it/seen it/ know if it can be done for an '01????
