Ok I have 3.73 gears and would like to know what tire size combo would be the best for tractions with those gears. The rims will be 17'' x 9.. I tough as 275 in the back and 245 in the front. But, one friend tol me 245 would be too tight in the front, watcha think ?

I had 245/45's on my R wheels when I bought them and that is too small of a tire for a 9in wide wheel. I ended up replacing them with 255/45 up front and 275/40 out back and they worked out great. Now as far as traction goes it does great in turns but if I stand in it then all bets are off.

I second the 255/45 in the front on a 9". I run both a 255 on my 92 and a 245 on my 95 and the 255's look much better on the 9" rim. You could go even wider if you wanted too. I wouldn't though. When I bolt my 18x9.5 2000 Cobra R's up to my 95, I run a 275 all the way around with no issues.

I have 17x9 REAL FRPP cobra R rims with 4.10s and i have Falken Azenis 275/40 in the front and Mickey tompson ET STREET radials 275/40 in the back. my car has barely any rubbing issues(cept for going into steep drivway) i have an Eibach prokit on it too, and my car handles unbelievable around tight corners even with the mickeys.
