I've been shopping around for a Borla cat-back (not stinger) lately because once tax refund is filed, that baby is getting ordered. Anyways, my question to you geniuses. I see many different pics, and the tips look different on some. Some appear to have a tip with an "insert"....from the back you see two layers of metal. Some seem to be rolled....and others say its a 4" tip, but it doesn't look rolled. Anyone have a clue what the Borla cat-back tips really look like and how large is the diameter??? Some examples of what I'm seeing.

one way is in the product it will usually say, rolled, slashed, or intercooled for the double edged ones. read those and read carefully. the 4" ones look good on some cars and not so hot on others. ive never seen it on yellow but on silver it looks mean. itll fill up the cut outs in the bumper very well. hope that helps a little.

I guess they come with different tips. Make sure to check the description before ordering the catback so you get the tips you want. I have 3.5" tips on my Bassani catback...I wish i had 4" tips on mine like the 03/04 Cobras get

I have a Borla Catback on my 2000 Mustang GT and this was before the Stinger Catback came out. The tips that I have are 4 inch Angle Cut Phantom Tips which look awesome on the car. I have the Amazon Green paint and everyone comments me on the exhaust tips. The tips have the outer metal and then the actual exhaust is inside the 4 inch diameter. The exhaust I do believe is 2.5 inches in diameter within the 4 inch diameter.
