Buying a car,need title legal advice!!!

hey everyone i want to buy a car, here in florida; from a guy who claims his title is in colorodo and his dada has to mail it to him/me which i believe.but he tells me everything should be fine if we do a bill of sale.......and that i wll be able to insure it etc. and have then i can transfer into my name...

+1, wait the 4 days for the title to be mailed. If the guy knew he was going to sell the car, why didn't he already have the title in hand? Sounds fishy to me.

well,im not so worried about the story although it does sound fishy,i am just worried about legality, maybe if he stiffs me can i stand by with bill of sale, and claim the title as mine?!? or what.......

wait for the title... bill of sale dont mean ****... you can insure the car thats all.. but you can't register it without the title.. just something not worth going threw if he is lieing
