Caster-Camber Plates Needed for 04 Cobra??

Please help - I've got an 04 Cobra - completely stock. I just purchased a new set of tires and figured I'd have the allignment checked. The dealership responded that there wasn't enough adjustment left in the front to properly adjust caster/camber? The car has 11K miles on it - I've owned since new. Is there a tendency to have problems with allignments on these cars? The mechanic suggested a set a caster-camber plates, but I jut thought it was rather odd that they would be required on a vehicle without any modifications.

I apologize if this has already been addressed. (I couldn't find it with a simple search.)

Common issue. Make sure whoever is performing the alignment is using the correct specs though.
