Do i need to buy this for gears?

See underneath they have the 3 install kits. Do i need any of that nonsense?

Im doing the install with a freind of mine (Mechanic friend).

I had an install kit, but i never used it. I ended up returning it. I think it's mostly just near bearings and shims and stuff like that.

Usually if you use FOrd gears and your rear end is in decent shape you don't need them. WHen i had my gears done, all i gave to the guy were the gears themselves. He had to buy one bearing but i forget which. Anyway all the old shims and stuff transferred and lined up great. 30,000 miles later not a peep
