Ford released new supercharger kits for the 5.0

Ford Racing has released new supercharger kits for the new 5.0 Mustang. I'm surprised Fords letting us purchased a warrantied Mustang that makes more power than the mighty GT500 and is a boat load cheaper. Interesting.

525hp/470lbs/ft @ 7psi and a 624hp upgrade option....

...so much for the naysayers that said the new TiVCT engine couldn't be supercharged.

Naysayers SUCK!! They have an old school mentality about compression and F.I., these new engines with VCT the 3V and the New 4V are so efficient the old school pushrod thinking is out the window

Not saying it's bad, but it needs more torque.

The kit looks amazing, however the pricing is steep. The paxton kit is 5kish and the turbo kit is about same price, and all three are about same power (base ford racing kit). Even the tuner kit is almost 1k more and those kits usually do not carry the warranty.

I imagine the $300 is just for the basic upgrade (tune and pulley), you've still got the fuel and ignition system to worry about at that point....not to mention Ford not offering Warranty coverage on the 9psi kit.
