Ford short block experience

I'm doing a efi swap on my 66 and i'm in need of a reliable short block. This engine will not see any track time and very little abuse. I have stock heads, intake, dist, ect... laying around from my 90 that i will use on this engine.

Does anyone have any experience with this short block?

Linky, no worky. FWIW, i'm not sure which one you are talking about, but...... My best friend had the gt-40 iron head long block in his car with great luck. Car ran around 106mph in a full weight gt. Then he put a 9psi powerdyne on the car (pos blower) and he pounded the crap out of the car. Motor made it about 50k and ran 113mph with blower untuned for the 20k the blower was on the car. I do mean he brutalizes his car, that motor was tough. Good luck.
