What happens when you try and pull codes?

Is this an original 5spd or AOD car?

I believe 5 spd. Sticker in door is gone. And it has 3 bar heads so gt40. And when i pull codes nothing happens.

Read through it and then do it. You will find the reason you can't pull the codes and how to fix it..
