Hardened Input Shaft?????

Whereabout can i get a HARDENED INPUT SHAFT for my 91 LX AOD???
How much do they run??? Does anyone have one of these??

Is your tranny stock or built,I would not put a hardened input shaft in unless you have a hardened forward drum.

Lentech, Art Carr, & TCI all have a one piece hardened input shaft. The onyl thing about the Art Carr is it uses a C6 spline count(31). The Lenetch and TCI use the same spline count(35). With the one piece shaft you loose lock up.

Now you can get the harden input shaft that for lock up that replaces the stock one. Its an easy swap to, pull one out and slide one in. Checkk Holcomb motorsports they sell them and plus can check out this place.. http://www.ford-aod.com/#Performance Parts
