i used a hair dryer,soapy water,and a small,curved pick.
warm the pedal with the dryer til flexable, lube with soapy water, slide one side of cover onto pedal, then use the pick to gently pull the other side on.
good luck.
I thought about that, but I was waiting to see if someone had done this with success...didnt want to ruin them. I guess I can try that next time I get out there.
i boiled some water too. and then put the pedals in the water for a little bit to warm the rubber. but its still a PITA job. good luck with your install.

what turbo gt said. PATIENCE! but as a tool. i used a small flat screw driver. but like he said, start in the top left corner and work your war around clockwise.
i spent a hour putting mine didnt boil them cuz i hadnt heard any succes stories when i was putting them on i flared out the left and right side at the top slide it down on the pedal and used a samll flat head to roll lip over the pedals was def a pita and a lot of sweat in a uncomfortable position
