so I know these are aftermarket gears..Please help me decifer what size is it? I heared you can count the teeth....I am hoping this is correct as they are not marked. thanx
Or you could make a line on each gear and rotate the pinion around the ring gear and count how many revolutions the pinion makes when it goes around the ring gear once.
guys, can you please explain to me in detail how to check it. I have read this a couple times and not getting anywhere...maybe if I have the gears infront of me it will help...I know I have a 3:73 and a 2:73 and a 3:27 gear here.
just like said before....take the ring gear and count the teeth on it. then take the pinion gear and count the teeth on that....then divide the ring gear by the pinion gear..so if you have 43 teeth on the ring and 10 on the pinion, you have 4.30 gears...thats just an example but you should be able to figure it out, its not rocket science
