You could always take out the passenger and rear seats, spare tire and have just enough gas in the tank, but have someone follow you in a truck with a full gas can.

Guys, I heard the drivetrain of these cars is pretty heavy. Maybe if you took it all out, it would be a lot lighter.

They'd have to power it with a 460... When was the last time you could get 400+ cubes in a car? Atleast 30 years ago, maybe more. '71 was the last year of the 426 for Mopar. Not sure about Ford.

"Had" is the key word, the mopars were my uncle's cars which they both sold years ago. My dad still has a Hemi Model A Ford street rod, but it went down hill when I was born and needs a complete restoration.
