maf computer help?

im running to pull a part tomorrow i need to know what year would work in like a explorer a lincoln town car etc for a 5.0 fuel inject mustang i know 88 and below wont work but will an explorer or a linoln town computer work with the 5.0 setup in a foxbody let me know ur input thanx a bunch

Don't mess around with different computers in a 5.0 Mustang. You need one that came from a 5.0 Mustang. The 5.0 engine has a different firing order from most of the other 5.0 engines & there are several other differences in the computer's internal program. A computer from some other cay mayl run, but it won't give peak performance.
