It's still half a year away but thought i'd give some notice to help anyone make plans.
Next year will be the first big all-Ford race for Mission Raceway near vancouver BC.
There will be a large car show and a swap meet but also drag racing on the sea-level 1/4 mile. Classes for new and old Fords, heads up shootout class for the really fast stuff. (see the Dal and Rash video posted further down) There'll be a nostalgia class which may turn out to be an FE engine shootout with a 10.0 index. A truck class and a late model Mustang class with possibly a Modular engine shootout. Also bracket classes for quick and slow.
We are looking for participants for the heads up class which is 6 and 7 second cars and if enough interest is out there we can add a second heads up class for smaller tired cars.
This will be for Ford powered vehicles only which includes Sunbeam Tigers and cars or dragsters with Ford engine swaps. The show is put on by the Ford car club council and should have a wide range of cars to interest anybody.
