coilovers went on fine, but my quads didnt clear them, they were blown anyway...they were monroe gp's. i dunno if those are stock or not but MM said that bilsteins will fit. where can i get them? and will they fit on a saleen/svo rear axle?
yikes...$84 each. are the monroe's the stock for quads? is not could i just get stock replacments? is there that much of a difference in the valving of the bilsteins vs stock?
I'm sure thier is a big differance in the valving in the Bilsteins. The question is do you need it ? And of coarse can you afford it. The big advantage I see is that they look more like the stock shocks in that they don't have a sheild covering the piston rod, that gives you more clearance. Dan
i already chucked the monroes cuz they were blown but i'll try and snap some pictures. the part that was hitting the coil was the actual quad shock body though so i dunno if the bilsten body is shorter or not
i got my kyb quads for like $35 each, iirc. they have a dust shield, but i just cut it off to get the clearance, don't know if that would help you at all though...
