Roush My 88 rides like Crap!! Fix plan!

I spoke with a lot of people about the K Members. MM, Griggs and AJE are the top three. Kenny Brown is Junk at least that's what I have been told by others who have had experience withKB.

I want handling with a somewhat compliant ride. Besides, I am keeping all of the old parts so it's no big deal.

Another thing about the AJE is that it does not alter the front suspension. And, you do not have to use a coilover. they come with spring perches.

I have an AJE and they have just as many issues as the rest of them. There is no question that the MM and Griggs are much stronger and reliable, no point in debating the KB since they are gone.
If this car is a daily driver, i'd seriously reconsider using it, Aftermarket K's come apart at the seams (literally) from daily use on beat up roads.
If it's a pleasure car, you should be ok.
I've had a chance to pretty much compare all k members at one time or another, and unless it's an absolutely necessary part for a specific reason, I wouldn't use one.
I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here just to be right, i'd just hate to see what happens to your beloved saleen if the k member breaks, and trust me, it happens.
The stock piece is nearly indestructable, not the same can be said for the aftermarket ones.

I hear you about the geometry issue, that's why i say if you can't go all out with this mod, don't do it at all.

I didn't want one, but my application requires it.
And i don't think it comes with spring perches, you must purchase them seperately.

Well the car is strictly a weekend car. i may put roughly 2-3k a year on it. I am going to have the AJE member reinforced a little. And the kit i ordered fom 50 resto came with perches. As far as i know, the only problem with AJE was the install.
 
3000 miles is nothing, by your concern about the ride quality i was thinking you were driving alot more than that, possibly daily.
Mine didn't come with the perches, they were like an extra $50.
 
Here's a list of the different spring rates by manufacturer. It will help give you a reference point when comparing springs. 1987 thru 1989 Saleen's (excluding SSC's) had specific rate springs with a front rating of 650 lbs. and rear rating of 300 lbs.
