It was about 3/4 to an inch.... Thus us one time I wish my car was on jack stands so I could take a pic.

Here's a late night picture of my shaft...
I had mine done at a place in Baltimore called Tex Welding. It could've been as 1/4 inch longer...but I've had no problems at all. The more length of splines inside the better. From my knowledge it needs at least 1 inch past the seal. The surface also needs to be clean and smooth. Scotch brite works well.
Like the girls say " the more in the hole the better ". Well, you don't want to rupture any seals or cause any uncontrollable vibrations, might shake something' loose. Lol

Of course you should do it. I have a UPR k member. You won't believe how much lighter it is than the original cradle.
A2A intercooler vs. meth injection (AIS kit) with boost pressure activation. Thoughts on what's better? Do meth kits fail?
I've heard/seen Meth is very Corrosive to all the plumbing and parts and is Bad news if the tank runs empty. That's all I got lol

Meth kits fail , run out usually at the wrong time all while running aggressive timing . Stuff is corrosive .
