And the holes for the tail lights are not in the right place on the tail panel ,i will redrill them
I had to do the same thing on mine. The holes in the end caps weren’t in the correct spots. And the holes for the tail lights are not in the right place on the tail panel ,i will redrill them
You know, looking at this car is already making me think of little things that I want to redo on mine. The tail panel I used is original tooling, but the lines aren't as crisp since the tooling is sixty years old now. It fit great, but the Dynacorn piece you used has much more crisp lines.
You know, the "people won't see it, but I will" kind of stuff.Side by side images: What you talkin' bout Willis?
At the very least I'm wanting to get another car to do a fastback conversion of my own sometime in the future.
Exactly. @horse sence need that parts list!Duh... It would be a shame to waste all this experience you're getting.
With the exception of the quirks present in my car from past accidents, I think it really is that easy. The only other variable is inconsistencies in aftermarket sheetmetal. The Dynacorn stuff seems pretty consistent, though.Man, I love these threads. Is it really as easy as squaring it all up and welding it, or is there an experience gap covering up the scary stuff? You make it look like you just clamp it and weld it.

You will be better off buying the 66 door frames ,there is a lot of making parts and fitting them in in the correct place ,i have a fast back to measure from so it isnt hard for me . With the full door frame there is a lot less troubleExactly. @horse sence need that parts list!

There’s a huge price difference between the ‘66 door frame and the non-assembled ‘67 frames! You will be better off buying the 66 door frames ,there is a lot of making parts and fitting them in in the correct place ,i have a fast back to measure from so it isnt hard for me . What kind of work is involved in retrofitting the vents in favor of quarter windows?Yep ,but there is a lot less work
