Has anyone encountered any unexpected problems when taking there 5.0's on long distance drives ?

I am about to relocate and will be driving my 92 5.0 from Kentucky to Georgia. The car has 122K and was a daily driver until 2005. Now only gets about 500 miles a year on weekends. It is in great shape and I am confident that it runs better than 90% of the vehicles on the road today.

Just seeing if there is anything I might want to take a look at before I embark on my trip

Shouldn't have any issues. I drove my 91 from texas to Ohio

Should not have any trouble. I have had my 88 since new and have driven cross country several times. The only thing I can think of to watch for on car that sits a lot is the tires. They can get old and still look like new, Double check for dry rot.

I'd go through and check all your fluids and air pressure in tires. The usual pre trip stuff...
