I have an 88 gt with the usual mods, I recently installed a be cool aluminum radiator, used 50/50 mix and also installed an autometer temp guage. If i', lets say merging onto a parkway and i hop on it thru 1st and 2nd my temp will get close to 210, as soon as i let off and maintain speed it goes back to 185-190. I have a 180 t-stat in it. It doesnt "use" coolant. Any ideas?? Oh yea, I can cruise in like 3rd gear (high rpms) and the temp only goes up a few degrees which is normal. Any info...greatly appreciated.
