when is there a scheduled oil change for the series iv, and what do you use???

Joe at Chicane told me my Series II could go 100k between oil changes after he did the install in 2001. I have only put 11k miles on it since then.

I spoke to the Saleen tech line about this last year. For the series IV, it's recommended to be changed every 50k. Saleen has a special oil for it, call them and ask for NYE oil. You could also use synthetic 50w, but then they recommended you change it more often.

Go to the GM dealer. Same stuff, less money and it's on-hand
