im in the middle of installing new springs.. got the front done easy. im having trouble with the rear however. i have been following these instructions here http://mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/steedaspring2.htm i have the bolt for the strut off, and the nut on the aft mount quad shocks. but, it says u can pull the quads right off, and im finding that there isnt enough play in order for me to just pull it off like they are saying. what can i do guys?

If your just installing new springs i don't know why you are even messing with the shocks.

all you have to do is take out one bolt. The one that holds the lower control arm to the axle, use a pry bar to push it down a little if you have stock springs in there and pull the spring out. Put the new one in and use a jack to get the control arm back up into place.

if you have a helper it's an easy 1 hour or less job.
