good start, just make sure there are no spots where water will catch on the new pieces your putting in.

The metal on the sides has not been welded in yet, but when we do weld it in we will have primer on the back side of it to keep it from rusting up. The car only sees good weather so it shouldn't be a prob. anyway.

contrary to popular belief, moisture in the air will still rust...lol.

looks good, but i'd spray some rustoleum or something on the backside of it before welding it in.
