Small Interior Upgrade

Just wondering what you guys think of the work I did on the console.

There was a hole left over from when they put in the aftermarket radio so instead of just putting a piece of plastic over it (or electrical tape like I bought it) I did this.

It's a thin piece of wood wrapped in white vinyl that slides right in the hole. No need for glue or screws.

That does look better.

Those radio plates do come with a trim piece that fills that slot. It's supposed to be for a small graphic equalizer. I had one in my car years ago but since went back to an OEM radio. I might still have it, not that you need it. That trim filler looks perfect

I would go with a matte black (or paint it with black interior paint made for your year model) to better match where it is placed, but it looks like the piece you made fits really well. Nice job.
